Membership Criteria

Membership is open to all women who meet the following criteria:

  1. An Indian citizen or a spouse of an Indian Citizen or an individual of Indian origin*
  2. Have been legally admitted into the Philippines as a resident and have valid resident visa like 9G, 47A, SIRV or SRRV  

* The terms Indian Origin and/or Indian Descent shall apply to a person who,

  • At any time, held an Indian Passport; or 
  • Either of her parents or grandparents or great-grandparents was born in and permanently a resident of India as defined in the Govt. of India Act of 1935; or
  • Is a non-Indian spouse of an Indian citizen or a person of Indian origin as defined by the two preceding items; or
  • Is not among nationals listed by the Govt. of India as non eligible for classification or entitlement of the privilege as being of Indian origin.
