The Beginning

Before 2019 ended, three women from diverse backgrounds sparked up with an idea of a platform for enterprising Indian Women. In May 2020, amidst COVID situation, the CORE team grew and began brainstorming.
The Foundation
June 17, 2020
In June 2020, the idea was solidified, Indian Women in Enterprise – “I-WE” name and logo were finalized.
Indian Embassy on board as “Honorary Member”
August 24, 2020
In August 2020, the I-WE core team gets an enthusiastic nod from the Indian Ambassador and got its first Honorary member.
Work Begins
November 5, 2020
In November 2020, to answer the need of the time, I-WE Core team organized an outreach for victims of Typhoon Rolly. I-WE also collaborated with Indian Embassy of Manila to celebrate Diwali and light the lamp of friendship with the Filipino Frontliners.
